Knowing where to go for help

Sometimes we all need a bit of help and support, but it can be hard trying to find out what we’re entitled to and where to go to get assistance.  Especially if English is your second language, or you are not sure which agency does what.

The Porirua Whanau Centre can help.

We have networks and contacts across lots of government and community agencies and we can provide advice and information to help you access a large range of welfare, health, education and other community services.

We can make referrals for you or you can refer yourself.  Either way, our specialist advisors can put you in touch with the people and services that can help you and we can support you while you go through the process.

There is no cost to you to use the Porirua Whanau Centre services.
